last night Das and Rodger played everything from eclectic jazz to classsical latin..........a few sound issues got them off to a late start.................................when the music started, however, the voice of fresh risk-taking, emotive, experimental avant garde sounds streamed throughout the cafe....................the solo pieces are exquisite.......................and when these two local GIANTS of modern jazz play together it's as if they are one.................................... see ya next week................

Catch this act before it goes international; the Cafe Vega is the perfect venue for this intense, intimate music...laid back, warm, hospitable...Pegues is like a mighty Proteus of all the musical languages...
